All Things FALL

Soo apparently its fall… well we wouldn’t know that here in Texas since its still a solid 80/85 degrees outside…

So despite the awful heat here for it being the end of October and not being able to wear cute fall clothes…  {end rant}  we are still doing some fun fall things…

I do not remember the last time I carved a pumpkin so that was number one on my to-do list last weekend..

{Insert Mike Wazowski Pumpkin}

(from pintrest, found HERE)

This is what ours turned out like:

Did we nail it or did we nail it?? You tell me (:

Well besides pumpkin carving and all things pumpkin, I have found SO many outfits I want to recreate on pintrest BUT since its still summer here in Texas, I’ll show you the cute outfits then recreate them later when it decides to become fall…

So I have this popular Herringbone vest but its not the popular J-Crew one, its a knock-off from T.J. Maxx. {Thank you to my bff over at LITTLE PIECE OF CHIC}

** Go follow her, she is THE fashionista. THE FASHIONISTA**

Anyways, I can’t wait to style this vest in many different ways to create many cute fall outfits! And right now at GroopDealz for $30!

This is the perfect outfit. Old Navy currently has tons of their graphic tee’s on sale, so if you are like me, you’ll stock up. I have options to wear under the three fur vests I have! SCORE. This is the perfect transition from where it still is warm but its not too cold to wear a short sleeve! And those boots, I need some like it but any brown booties would be cute!

Leopard is always a staple in the fall. Whether it is on your clothing or on your nails. I did this a few years ago and it was a great fall look! Next time I do this to my nails I do only one nail per hand leopard and the rest black or the base brown color. This will give it a more subtle look.

One last thing:

I really want to make a wreath this fall. I will let y’all know if that happens. HA.

Camo- a neutral this Fall

So if your like me, you have more camo than you no what to do with. Like seriously, I have camo pants, leggings, and shorts. Camo flats, t-shirt, and button up. Also a camo army jacket. Literally any piece of clothing you can think of, I have it in camo.

Camo has proven to be a staple in any closet this year. There are pages and pages of pintrest outfits that include some type of camo. With that being said, I have recreated two pintrest outfits I loved:

When I saw this I knew if I changed out my camo button up for the green jacket, I would have the perfect outfit! Now, I wore my black converse to make it more of a casual look rather than a day on the square look but it was still adorable.

IMG_6627I bought these black skinny jeans at the Forever 21 outlet in San Marcos and seriously I wear them atleast once a week. They were $7.50!!!! and yes, they are AMAZING. (The ones linked are similar just not $7.50 (; )

My camo button up is from Ross and my necklace I got off of Jane.

** If you have never heard of Jane then you need to go visit their site right now. Like right now. It is awesome and has some great deals!!! I love this Kendra knock off since no college girl has $90.00 to spend on a necklace. And you know, personally I think it look real similar to the real thing!

Now, I really just used this photo as a basis for my outfit. I found this as a pin on pintrest and it was labeled ” How to wear white jeans in the fall”. Since its still a stinkin 85-90 degrees here in Dallas, I decided to pair a simple black t-shirt with my camo army jacket. Now, honestly I barely wore the jacket since it was so hot but come on, it looked great together!

This is my first pair of Joe’s Jeans. OH MY. They are simply amazing. I would go buy 5 pairs of Joe’s Jeans right now if I could. They are soo soft and comfortable its crazy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

This is really a simple outfit. I just paired a plain black t-shirt with my camo Army Jacket. Now you can’t really see the sleeves but the sleeves are a fake leather. Like they are awesome. REALLY. I found this jacket at Ross last Fall and have loved it ever since!

Since I really wanted to keep it simple I just paired my blingy cross necklace with it. I mean come on.. gold goes perfect with camo!

I wear something camo probably every week and will continue to do so. I think my camo leggings would look great with a grey t-shirt for a simple yet fashionable look for school (or maybe just lazy look (; )

Lover of Make-up

So who else LOVES make-up?

I have to refrain from going in to Ulta otherwise I end up spending WAY too much on make-up I don’t need. Well it was a problem…..until I joined Ipsy.

If you haven’t heard of Ipsy it is a company that sends you five samples of make-up products in a make-up bag once a month! And its only $10 a month!!! AMAZING. Who doesn’t love coming home once a month to a make-up bag with products in it ready to test?!?! I just received my second bag this month and OH MY! It is the best of both worlds. Getting sample sized make-up products to try and them coming every month to my doorstep! See I love make-up but I never seem to go through an entire palette of eyeshadows before getting more or an entire tube of lipstick without loosing it. Its a PROBLEM! I can literally go through old purses and find three tubes of lipstick….

So I have decided I will start reviewing the items that come in my bag each month because why not?!!

These are the five products I got this month with the bag to the left.

I love a good lipstick. I have never heard of this brand but I love lipstick so I thought I would test it out for a day to the mall. MAN. This color was AWESOME. They were spot on with this color. I LOVED it. It came in the color cappuccino. It can be found HERE.

Now the highlighter, I was not as impressed with. To me it has a mint smell to it which if you know me, you know my feelings about anything mint…… BUT if you like the mint smell….then you might like this highlighter!

The hand cream on the other hand….. I LOVED it! I hate putting on lotion then feeling like my hands are oily or sticky…it literally drives me crazy. Like CRAZY. BUT this lotion has more of a watery feel. Then once you have rubbed it in it doesn’t feel sticky AT ALL. LIKE AT ALL. I feel I found the lotion my soul longs for.. Maybe a bit dramatic but whatever. I got it in Mango Mandarin which I love the smell of mango so it worked for me! It can be found HERE.

This Mascara. I love mascara and I this one was actually not that bad! It does not clump your lashes which I love because that look is a NO-NO like NO. It is a small tester tube which I like because I like switching brands and like to try new things hints why I joined Ipsy. It can be found HERE.

I’m sorry but I’m not even going to review the facial wipes. I am not a fan and they made my skin feel gross. I will just say they were not my favorite.

Well I know this is alot of words and little pictures but I love make-up so its worth it.

More than Just a Monogram

(Two of my sweet friends)

Monograms, monograms, monograms. That is basically all you see on a college campus besides leggings, nike shorts, and oversized t-shirts.

About a year ago, I decided I would get the software for my sewing machine that would allow me to monogram. I mean I have a sewing machine that can embroider so why not?!? Every where you turn you see someone with something that is monogramed.. am I right or am I right?? So i figure what they hay? I love crafting and I loved monograms so what could go wrong?? HA after many attempts…..

and not so lovely monograms…I had finally figured it out! **Insert Excitement**

(Fleece Vests for christmas gifts!)

Once I figured it out I was a monogramming MACHINE. Literally. I made something for all my family and many of my friends. Since it was around the holidays when I perfected my crafting, everyone expected something monogrammed for christmas! HA  I was also making many gifts for many friends and friends of friends were asking me to monogram various items.

This pillow:

Pocket tee’s for some dear friends:

Scarfs, bags, onesies, bibs, burp clothes, button downs and robes for weddings, bath towels, and much more!

I love crafting and this has been one of my favorite crafts to do. When I learned how to monogram I went out and spent way too much on different colored threads and supplies. But if you know me, then you know I have a spending problem. Shopping is a weakness.
